Malaysia’s No.1 EV surpasses 5,000 units sold and RM500 rebate offered as part of Raya Promotion
Subang Jaya, 10 March 2026 - PRO-NET, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PROTON, today announced a special Raya Promotion for the Proton e.MAS 5, following its remarkable performance as Malaysia’s best-selling electric vehicle (EV) for two consecutive months in 2026.
As of February 2026, the registration for Proton e.MAS 5 has surpassed 5,000 units in total nationwide sales, cementing its position as Malaysia’s No. 1 electric vehicle (EV). A strong start to the year saw 3,068 units delivered in January alone, with momentum continuing into February through a further 1,562 units handed over to customers nationwide, reflecting sustained demand and growing consumer confidence.
In appreciation of the strong support from Malaysians for the Proton e.MAS 5, and in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya festivities, PRO-NET is extending a special RM500 Raya rebate for all bookings made between 31 October 2025 and 23 March 2026.

Book a Proton e.MAS 5 by 23 March 2026 and Enjoy a RM500 Raya Rebate
The RM500 Raya rebate for the Proton e.MAS 5 is valid for all bookings made until 23 March 2026, giving more Malaysians the opportunity to celebrate Hari Raya with the country’s No.1 EV.
Customers will be eligible for the rebate under the following conditions:
- Book a Proton e.MAS 5 by 23 March 2026 and complete vehicle registration by 30 September 2026.*
- Customers who booked and registered their Proton e.MAS 5 between its official launch date on 31 October 2025 and 23 March 2026 will also be entitled to the RM500 rebate.*

Beyond these incentives, all customers will benefit from extended special launch pricing and a six-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, as well as an eight-year or 160,000 km high-voltage battery and component warranty.
